ABOUT THE ARTIST
Paul Ward has been a professional photographer for over twenty years now and recently won his category at the British Photography Awards 2020. Over the years his work has been published in many books and magazines both in the UK and internationally and his architectural images currently adorn the walls aboard Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2. Paul’s passion for cars started when he bought his first Austin Mini almost 30 years ago and ever since then he has been obsessed with both classic cars and modern supercars, so, as an image-maker, it’s not surprising that automotive photography has become a passion of his too.

ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Captured by Paul Ward at Chateau Impney, this is a 1973 third generation Chevrolet C10 pickup truck, powered by a 5.7-litre V8. Designated the "Rounded Line" generation by General Motors, the C/K grew in size inside and out. As pickup trucks increased in use as personal vehicles, cab features and options moved closer in line with GM sedans (with power windows and power door locks becoming options). To further expand its practicality, a four-door crew cab body was introduced (offering 6-passenger seating). Handcrafted in Nottingham, this vintage American car wall art is available on a limited run of 100 units ever, in a range of print formats.
